Help a trampled backyard bounce back

Mail past gm560 »

I spent the weekend removing some one-time shrubs, cutting a new landscape bed, planting new plants and spreading mulch. All this activeness left some of the lawn around the bed a niggling beaten downwards and matted. I raked information technology upwardly as best I could and even used the blower on it, simply it's still niggling oking a piddling pitiful. Any ideas to help information technology bounce back? A hit of milo maybe? Water?

I'd h2o. When grass leaves footprints behind that indicates information technology needs a adept soaking. Personally, I'd skip the milo unless you have irrigation.

Lucky for you lot nosotros have dry out, cool, sunny weather condition in NJ right now. Perfect for helping your grass bounce back.

Likely the grass was heavy from all the rain and that's why it's staying down. Information technology should popular up in a twenty-four hour period or two.

I get trampled grass all the time in my k. Whether it be from me galavanting around doing who knows what, to my kids running around like maniacs or throwing some serious corn hole tournaments. Guess what I do well-nigh it? Aught. I don't rake, I don't blow. I literally do nothing. Yea, information technology looks ugly for a while, simply it eventually bounces back and y'all can't tell.

Areas of my lawn got mangled a few months agone. I used a blower to stand some of the grass back up. Within a calendar month or and then, information technology was looking much, much ameliorate. At the present time, no harm is detectable except in areas where the grass was uprooted.

Cool, cheers everyone. I knew it would come back, but wasnt sure if there was any mode to help.... it kinda sucks to spend all day cutting a new bed, getting a clean edge, just to have the grass around it look a little crappy. Oh well, I need to piece of work on my patience.
